Even easier renting – the new listing process at Homelike

Homelike wants to make the creation of advertisements as easy and quick as possible. For this reason, you now have even more possibilities to present your home in the best possible way. We would like to present the essential innovations to you:

1. Clear and concise design

The whole process has a new design, but we have not only worked on an improved look, we have also introduced many small changes that make advertising even faster and easier.

You can now follow your progress on the left and provide more precise information about the apartment type. If it’s a studio, it’s now selectable.

2. Improved portfolio management

If you only manage the property to be offered and are not the owner, you now have the option to enter the data of the apartment owner.

Make sure that all documents are automatically issued to the correct person and that subsequent adjustments can be avoided.

Another significant addition to the listing process is the ability to add tax rates to the apartment. Enter precisely which tax rate is to be applied from which rental period and even more, enter the current costs for any cultural and tourism tax that may apply. The tenant thus receives a completely precise cost overview and possible discrepancies and inquiries are avoided. For companies that are input tax deductible, there is the possibility in future to display net rental prices, i.e. excluding taxes. This will make your apartment even more attractive in terms of price, provided you have deposited the relevant tax rate.

3. Enhancement of Availability Management

We would like to ensure that you only receive requests that you can realize in terms of time. We have therefore extended our availability management to include the options maximum rental period and maximum permitted vacancy. Avoid requests that would create a vacancy (for example, “Maximum allowed vacancy” = 7 days) or limit the maximum rental period that can be requested. In addition, we now also give you the option of specifying how much lead time you need for new tenants, i.e. how spontaneously a tenant can move in with you (for example, “minimum lead time” = 2 days). This way, you always retain maximum control over your occupancy and receive even more specific and relevant enquiries.

4. Improved query of the 10 Homelike Standards

The 10 apartment standards must be met by all advertisements – we give you the opportunity to provide additional information on the standards and ensure that your apartment meets the minimum requirements.

5. Extension of the detailed apartment data (energy certificate)

With the new advertisement creation, you can also keep an eye on administrative information at all times and not only see an overview of an exemplary price calculation with the current rental costs you have entered, but also provide relevant information such as information about the energy certificate.

6. Preview of your apartment

To keep an eye on the progress of your ad creation at all times, take a look at our small summary, which we provide on the left side of the screen. Here you will not only find information about the automatically generated Homelike reference code of your apartment, but also the possibility to see how your ad will be displayed on our site as soon as it is online (preview).
