As HR Assistant you are contributing significantly to Homelike’s growth and success. Together with the HR team, you are the main point of contact for our employees in regards to all HR-related questions and thus have insight into all relevant HR topics.

How you are part of our success story:

  • You are responsible for all administrative HR tasks and processes starting from onboarding to the whole employee life-cycle and offboarding 
  • You provide employees your full support regarding all HR admin-related topics and requests
  • You own the process of preparing all HR documents (employment contracts, amendments, confirmation letters and reference letters etc.)
  • You regularly communicate with all relevant stakeholders 
  • You contribute to HR projects as employee engagement, employer branding and performance management
  • You have full responsibility for such topics as payroll, pension, promotions and salary changes 
  • You conduct exit interviews and administer the reports and analysis 
  • You take care of the most important office tasks in our Cologne office

What you need to convince us:

  • Ideally you have completed a university degree and gained first professional qualifications in an international and fast growing environment or start-up
  • You have already had exposure to payroll practices, German labor law and employment equity regulations
  • It is a big plus if you have already experience as recruiter, personnel consultant or HR generalist
  • You can work independently and have a sense of responsibility and ownership
  • You are structured and can keep a cool head even with a variety of tasks
  • You are available to come to the office one or two times a week
  • Fluent in English, further language skills (German, Spanish, French) are a plus
