The Weinertshof is located in the Reiter village of Dansweiler, a village belonging to Pulheim, just outside Cologne. Only 200m away you enter the Königsdorfer Wald, one of the few remaining forests of the formerly widespread oak and beech forests in the Lower Rhine Bay and the largest remaining part of the Villewälder in the northern part of the Ville-Höhenzug. Its near-natural forest communities with their numerous herbaceous and shrub species provide habitats for many rare animal and plant species that are particularly dependent on such forests. On the other hand, you can reach Cologne main station within 17 minutes by train from Frechen-Königsdorfer station. There is also a close access to the A4.
