Business Development Manager – France (f/m/d)

To pursue up our ambitious growth strategy we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (f/m/d) for our new office in Paris who would like to have a real impact in our startup business. You will be responsible for building up longterm b2b customer partnerships on the demand side from scratch and grow them to the next level while you are working in an international team that is based in Cologne, London, Barcelona and Paris. Your responsibilities:​

  • You will be responsible for the lead generation from scratch for the french market and cold-calling will be your daily doing
  • You will focus on new business development while you research and identify potential new clients to approach, understanding their long stay travel needs
  • You are nevertheless core part of our “Lighthouse” team which focuses on the acquisition and care of our top 500 corporate clients
  • You will integrate the accounts and build up a long-term customer relationships afterwards while you function as a Key Contact Person
  • You will be expected to cooperate closely with other departments to improve product development / technology and marketing
  • You take full responsibility of the complex sales process and guide the customer throughout the sales cycle
  • You are representing Homelike as a brand at fair’s

The perfect candidate brings along:​

  • Willingness to be based in Paris and travel frequently to customers of the market
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in (online and offline) sales and business development
  • Ideally, you have also startup experience or/and in the hospitality industry
  • You are the perfect mix of a business developer and key account manager
  • You are fluent (advantageous native) in especially French and English – additional languages are a plus
  • You have the unconditional will to succeed and do not lose courage during longer sales cycles
  • You are proactive, problem&solution-oriented and thinking-out-of-the-box
  • You are able to work under pressure in a hypergrowth start-up business and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Bonus: Salesforce knowledge – but not a must
